Green Party National Meeting in Newark, NJ, July 13-16

 

 

 

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Jill Stein, the Green Party’s 2016 presidential nominee, New Jersey gubernatorial candidate Seth Kaper-Dale, and other Green candidates and officeholders will speak at press conferences during the Green Party’s 2017 Annual National Meeting in Newark, New Jersey, this week ( http://www.gp.org/2017_anm ).

 

Greens will convene from Thursday, July 13, until Sunday, July 16, at the New Jersey Institute of Technology in Newark ( http://www.njit.edu ). The 2017 meeting will feature Green Party panels, workshops, meetings of the Green National Committee, and other events.

 

Dr. Stein will make an announcement at a press conference beginning at 4 p.m. on Thursday, July 13. Green candidates from New Jersey, Pennsylvania, New York, and other states will participate in two press conferences Friday morning. A schedule of press conferences and other events for news media is appended below.

 

The meeting in Newark is open to the media and public. Registration is on-site. Members of the media may sign in at the main registration table when they arrive. The location is Campus Center at 150 Bleeker Street.

 

The Green Party of New Jersey ( https://www.gpnj.org ) is this year’s host for the Annual National Meeting. GPNJ has organized local affiliates in Newark and Essex County. More information about the Green Party’s 2017 Annual National Meeting will be announced in the coming months.
