Gusciora: Rent Stabilization Board to be Renewed

Rent Stabilization Board to be Renewed

Applicants Wanted

Trenton N.J. – Mayor Reed Gusciora is calling for all qualified candidates to please apply for positions on the City’s Rent Stabilization Board. Per city ordinance, the Rent Stabilization Board is tasked with “studying local problems and issues relating to landlord-tenant relations, supplying information to the public and advising the Mayor and City Council.”

“Trenton tenants need to know they have a place to go for their grievances, especially when it comes to maintaining safe housing and rent.” Mayor Gusciora maintained yesterday. “We also need landlords to know that there’ll be clear guidelines. Dealing with tenants and maintaining their properties cannot be a free-for-all.”

The Board consists of seven members. There are to be two landlords, two tenants, and three resident homeowners within the city limits. Members are to be appointed to a three-year term.

Applicants should send letters of interest with any resume to TrentonTransition2018@gmail.com
