Haddon Township’s The Pour House to Host ‘Pups & Pints’ Event

Helping Homeless Animals Find Forever Homes on Saturday, May 14

Haddon Township, NJ – May 4, 2022 – Pet owners and animal lovers alike are invited to Haddon Township’s The Pour House for ‘Pups & Pints’ – scheduled to take place on Saturday, May 14 from noon to 4 p.m. at 124 Haddon Avenue. The event will feature pup-tastic events curated to help homeless animals find their forever homes.

This free-admission event will feature the best local brews and pet-centric events for our four-legged friends. Attendees can also meet with pets available for adoption and even take a chance at winning paw-some prizes and raffles. Furry friends can show off their best costumes, sample treats, paint with their paws, and pose for pet photos.

“We’re excited to support The Pour House’s ‘Pups & Pints’ event”, said Haddon Township Mayor Randall Teague. “Animal owners and friends are encouraged to join us in supporting and finding forever homes for local homeless animals.”

The event will feature multiple beers provided by Maine Beer Company. The first two featured beers are the mouthwatering Lunch and limited-run Dinner brews. Their new brew, Little Whaleboat, will also be featured, with proceeds from Little Whaleboat purchases being donated to the Maine Coast Heritage Trust. For beer lovers seeking a rare brew, Maine Beer Company’s Second Dinner variety will be the final featured ale. The Pour House will be the only place in New Jersey to taste the craft beer, as only one keg of Second Dinner will be shipped to the state.

Don’t have a canine companion? Pets will be available for adoption onsite during the event, and prospective pet owners are encouraged to adopt a new friend while enjoying their Pour House pints. Sponsored by The Pour House, Tito’s Vodka and Maine Beer Brewing, proceeds from the event will benefit the Homeward Bound Pet Adoption Center.
