Hamilton Mayor to Perform Valentine’s Day Weddings

(Hamilton) – Hamilton residents who wish to exchange their wedding vows on Valentine’s Day will be able to do so this February 14th with their Mayor officiating the ceremony.

Hamilton Township Mayor Kelly Yaede will be performing Valentine’s Day ceremonies at Kuser Mansion – the township-owned, Queen Anne-style former summer home of Fred Kuser of the prominent Kuser Family. Kuser’s business interests included Fox Film Corporation, Lenox Company and the Mercer Motor Car Company.  The mansions sits inside the 22-acre Kuser Farm Park.

“One of the best parts of being Mayor is being able to officiate the wedding ceremonies of so many happy couples; and Valentine’s Day presents itself as a very special holiday for these special ceremonies,”explains Mayor Yaede.

Hamilton residents looking to have their wedding officiated by Mayor Yaede this Valentine’s Day are asked to contact the Mayor’s Office by Thursday, February 7, 2019, by phone at 609.890.3507 to discuss details prior to scheduling their ceremony time in-person.  Afterwards, couple must then contact the Township’s Division of Health by Noon on Friday, February 8, 2019 at 609.890.3826 to schedule an in-personappointment for the marriage license application.  Due to the limited availability for ceremonies, couples are encouraged to contact the Township Government as soon as possible as ceremonies will be booked on a first come, first serve basis.

The mansion’s Drawing Room, where the ceremonies will take place, will be able to comfortably accommodate up to 20 guests of the couples.
