Hamilton Township Announces Partnership Health Center

HAMILTON, NJ – Hamilton Township Mayor Martin announces the establishment of a health, wellness, and care coordination center for Township employees, dependents, and retirees covered under the Township’s health plan. The health center will be established and managed by Partnership Health Center by Integrity Health, LLC, as approved by the Township Council at their meeting earlier this week.

The health center, known as the Hamilton Township Partnership Health Center, will be located at 200 First Responder’s Way. Partnership Health offers customized, patient-centered, cost-effective health programs built on coordinated care. The center provides eligible employees with multiple primary and urgent care services at one location close to home, eliminating expensive and unnecessary emergency room charges. The center offers convenient access to care so medical needs are not compounded and allows primary care to be coordinated with hospitals and specialists to minimize repeat doctor visits.

“Hamilton Township is always looking for cost efficiencies in the way we use taxpayer money and deliver services, so I am proud and enthusiastic to announce this new partnership with Integrity Health. One of the largest factors associated with our budget is the rising cost of health care and we have worked hard over the last few years to control these costs. By partnering with Integrity Health, we are providing our employees and their families convenient medical care at a lower cost to our taxpayers.” stated Mayor Jeff Martin.

“We are pleased to work with Hamilton Township leadership in their continuing efforts to control health care costs for Township employees and taxpayers alike. Our motto is ‘Lower Costs Through Better Health’ and we look forward to bringing the success of this philosophy to Hamilton as we have for other health plans. Even though utilization of the health center by Hamilton employees will be strictly voluntary, given our track record, I am confident that the overwhelming majority of employees will come to trust the first-class health care and coordination they will receive,” said Integrity Health Chairman Doug Forrester.

The Hamilton Township Partnership Health Center, scheduled to open in August, will provide various services, such as primary care physicians, lab services, mental health services, and physical therapy, on a no-copay basis. Integrity Health also runs similar health centers for other government agencies, including the Brick Township School District, Toms River School District, Long Branch School District, Somerset County, South Brunswick School District, Lycoming County, and Franklin Township School District.
