Hamilton Township Recognizes WWII Veteran Matthew Midura

Hamilton Township Mayor Kelly Yaede recently presented a special proclamation to a very special retired Hamilton Township Municipal Government employee.  Matthew Midura, who is a retired Hamilton Township Inspector, is also a local World War II veteran.  Midura was a member of the United States Army and served in the Battle of the Bulge, as well as in Normandy just 48 hours after D-Day.  He is a recipient of the Bronze Medal, the American Campaign Medal, the World War II Victory and an Award of Good Conduct Medal.  Along with Midura’s family and friends, joining Mayor Yaede to recognize Midura were former Hamilton Mayor Jack Rafferty, members of the Marine Corps League – Trenton Detachment #207 and members of the Hamilton Township Patriotic Committee.
