February 24, 2022, Moorestown – Bob Healey, candidate for New Jersey’s 3rd Congressional district, today issued the following statement on Russia’s aggression in Ukraine.

“Today an independent nation is fighting a violent foreign invader led by an authoritarian thug who is bent on restoring the old Soviet Union and threatening democracy across the globe. I recognize that our country is greatly divided today on many issues foreign and domestic, but on this we must stand together in condemnation of Vladimir Putin. Our shared American values must unite us in the fight against authoritarianism and communism. I strongly encourage this administration, Congress, the Senate, and our NATO allies to do the right thing and demonstrate a resolve to stand with our friends in their times of need by giving them every means and opportunity to defend their country.”
