Health Care Workers Endorse Democrats in the 16th Legislative District

Princeton – Democrat Laurie Poppe for State Senate, Democratic Assemblyman Andrew Zwicker and Democrat Roy Freiman for Assembly have won the endorsement of JNESO, the New Jersey Nurses Economic Security Organization, which represents over 5,000 professional health care workers in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. JNESO, which began in 1958, represents hospital and clinical workers such as nurses and most licensed technical employees.
“I am honored to receive the support of JNESO,” said Laurie Poppe. “Ensuring all New Jerseyans have access to affordable, quality care is one reason I am seeking office. As a state senator, I will work with JNESO to improve care, support our healthcare professionals, and make sure our families can get the care they deserve.”
“Thank you to JNESO for the endorsement,” said Assemblyman Zwicker. “I’m working hard in the Legislature to protect every families’ ability to get the care and support they need. I am proud to stand with the members of JNESO and look forward to working with them to improve healthcare in New Jersey.”

The 16th Legislative District includes the townships of Delaware, Raritan, Readington,Branchburg, Hillsborough, Montgomery, and South Brunswick, the Princeton municipality and the Manville, Millstone, Rocky Hill, Flemington, and Somerville boroughs.
