Hearing By Senate’s Fiscal Recovery Strategists To Focus On Health & Fitness Clubs
Trenton – The Senate’s team of economic recovery strategists working to develop ways to safely restart the state’s economy will conduct a public hearing on Thursday to discuss the challenges faced by health and fitness clubs in returning to business, Senator Paul Sarlo said.
The remote hearing will be held on Thursday, August 6th at 1:00 p.m. It will be accessible via the OLS website: https://www.njleg.state.nj.us/media/live_audio.asp?SESSION=2020
“Every business sector faces challenges in recovering from the COVID-19 shutdown and operating under the demanding conditions as we reopen the economy,” said Senator Sarlo. “This hearing will provide input from those who know the most about their businesses and who have the most at stake. It will help to determine the best means to return to business in ways that protect the health and safety of their customers and workers.”

In addition to Senator Sarlo, the chairman of the Senate Budget and Appropriations Committee, the members include Senator Steve Oroho, the Senate Republican Budget Officer, Senate President Pro Tempore M. Teresa Ruiz and Senator Troy Singleton.
