Atlantic City,  NJ – Today, March 1st, 2017, Hirsh Vardhan Singh announced his candidacy for Governor of the State of New Jersey. This afternoon event took place at the historic Kennedy Plaza on the Boardwalk in Atlantic City.  In his speech, Mr. Singh who’s running as a republican candidate emphasized several points of his plan including: cutting property taxes and fixing the school funding formula to bring back prosperity to the residents of New Jersey, fix transportation infrastructure, and make New Jersey a national leader in technological innovation.

In the speech attended by local business leaders, Mr. Singh emphasized his goal to cut taxes and regulations to bring back jobs to New Jersey.  “We need to fix our economy, we need to get going in the right direction”.  

During his speech, Mr. Singh mentioned the need for fresh and innovative ideas “we’ve tried bankers from Goldman Sachs before and we’ve tried lawyers”; “Now if you give me the support I bring my engineering background as a problem solver”.

Mr. Singh is a product of New Jersey.  He was born in Atlantic City, went to Egg Harbor Township High School, and earned engineering degree from NJIT, the New Jersey Institute of Technology.  For the past decade, Mr.Singh has been  a results-driven, successful businessman and has worked with and managed small and large teams of multi-billion dollar corporations providing cutting-edge engineering solutions and services nationwide across civilian and defense government agencies.
