Hirsh Singh Wins Endorsement of Conservative Cape May County
Linwood, NJ – The Republican Party of the deeply conservative Cape May County in New Jersey endorsed conservative U.S. Senate candidate Hirsh Singh for the primary election in June. Cape May County is the most Republican County in New Jersey as registered Republicans outnumber registered Democrats by almost two to one. Singh will be on the ballot with President Trump in the most Republican county in the state.
In 2016, Trump carried the county by nearly 20 points and it is no surprise that Singh, viewed as the pro-Trump Republican in the race, received the endorsement of the county. Singh’s main opponent in the primary has endorsed Obamacare and has held a political appointment granted by Washington D.C.’s Democrat Mayor Muriel Bowser. The victories in Ocean County and Cape May County indicate that Singh is the candidate of the deeply conservative voters of the state. Singh’s losses have been in counties that are considered part of the bipartisan “establishment” which opposed Trump’s candidacy in 2016.
Singh would be the strongest candidate to defeat incumbent Democrat Cory Booker as he has exposed Booker’s corruption and is feared by the Democrat establishment.
“I am grateful to Cape May County and promise to defend American and conservative values in the Senate,” said Singh.
Singh has already been endorsed by RNC Committeeman Bill Palatucci, RNC Committeewoman Ginny Haines, Ocean County Republican Organization Chairman Frank Holman, Ocean County Republican Organization Vice Chairwoman Barbara Lanuto, Ocean County Freeholder Chairman John Kelly, Freeholder Joseph Vicari, Freeholder Gerry Little, Freeholder Gary Quinn, Ocean County Sheriff Michael Mastronardy, Ocean County Clerk Scott Colabella, State Committeewoman Janice Fields, Atlantic County’s Linwood Republican Club, Montclair Republican Club, the Conservative Party of New Jersey, and Bergen County’s and New Jersey’s youngest County Committeeman Michael Schnoll.
