Hoboken Democrats Chairwoman Endorses Craig Guy for Hudson County Executive

Citing Experience and Dedication, Chair of Hoboken Democrats Endorses Guy and HCDO Ticket

 

JERSEY CITY, NJ – Democratic candidate for Hudson County Executive Craig Guy is announcing that his campaign has been endorsed by Rachel Hodes, the Chairwoman of the Hoboken Democrats. Chairwoman Hodes is also endorsing the entire Hudson County Democratic Organization ticket running to represent Hoboken at the county and state levels, citing their collective experience and dedication, and the diversity of the entire team. Hoboken Mayor Ravi Bhalla has previously endorsed the team.

 

The endorsements include:

 

  • Raj Mukherji for State Senate

  • John Allen and Jessica Ramirez for State Assembly

  • Craig Guy for County Executive

  • Anthony L. Romano for County Commissioner

I am glad to be able to wholeheartedly endorse his campaign for Hudson County Executive,” said Rachel Hodes, Hoboken Democrats Chairwoman. “Craig has already done so much important work for Hudson County during his time in government, and I’m excited to continue partnering with him to stand up for the residents of Hoboken and the entire Hudson County community. I am looking forward to seeing him work with Mayor Bhalla and Commissioner Romano to get things done. I also look forward to seeing Raj Mukherji, Jessica Ramirez, and Hoboken’s own John Allen TO step into new roles and look forward to working with them to advance policies that matter most to Democrats in Hoboken.”

 

Guy is running to improve quality of life in Hudson County, fighting for investment in affordable housing, education, county parks, and law enforcement. A former police officer for more than two decades, he has also worked as the Chief of Staff to the current County Executive, Tom DeGise.

 

“It’s an honor to be endorsed by Chairwoman Hodes,” said Craig Guy. “We have worked closely to serve Hoboken residents, and I am excited to continue collaborating with the Hoboken Democrats to improve public safety, housing, and quality of life here in Hudson County.”

Craig Guy has previously been endorsed by leading Democratic elected officials like Governor Phil Murphy, Senator Bob Menendez, Senator Cory Booker, and all 12 of Hudson County’s Mayors, as well as leadership from the statewide and Hudson County Fraternal Order of Police, the Central Labor Council, and the Hudson County Building Trades.
