HOBOKEN HOUSING AUTHORITY CHAIRPERSON REYES TO CHAIR PU AND FONSECA ASSEMBLY CAMPAIGN
Hudson County, NJ – New Jersey General Assembly candidates Jennie Pu and Crystal Fonseca today announced that Hoboken Housing Authority Chairperson Barbara Reyes will chair their campaign. Reyes is also the Manager of Community Programs at HOPES Community Action Partnership, Inc.
“I believe Jennie and Crystal are the best candidates to represent us down in Trenton because I know that if they are elected their sole focus will be on bringing back critical resources and opening up avenues for expanded access to affordable housing and economic opportunity for all Hoboken and Jersey City residents,” said Reyes. “Throughout my career I have seen so many politicians come and go and I found myself drawn to Jennie and Crystal’s campaign because I have seen firsthand how hard they work in the community, simply because they want to improve people’s lives. I believe that in these coming weeks and months district voters will come to see the same thing I do, these two candidates’ only agenda is to provide opportunity and increased access for all. I look forward to helping them achieve their goals in any way I can.”
Pu and Fonseca released the following statement thanking Reyes: “We recognize the scope of this campaign and are grateful to have Barbara’s assistance as we move forward in laying out our vision for the district. Her background is of particular import as we focus on providing access to more affordable housing for Hoboken and Jersey City families and additional resources for the most vulnerable among us. We believe that our backgrounds working within the community will serve as a guide for improving the lives of those we want to represent in the General Assembly and we are looking forward to tapping into the experience of individuals like Barbara Reyes and working cooperatively with anyone who wants to join us for the betterment of district residents.”
