Hoboken Municipal Republican Committee Celebrates Lincoln Dinner

Hoboken, NJ – The Hoboken Municipal Republican Committee held its annual Lincoln Day Dinner at Lola’s Tapas on Tuesday February 25 to an event hall packed to capacity. The dinner featured addresses from New Jersey Republican Gubernatorial Candidate and former Assemblyman Jack Ciattarelli as keynote speaker, New Jersey 10th Congressional District GOP hopeful Michael Barnett, and Turning Point USA Bayonne Highschool Chapter founder and president Petra John. The role of master of ceremonies for the evening was shared by Hoboken Municipal Republican Committee Chairman Chris Carbine and NJ GOP State Committeeman Joshua Sotomayor Einstein.

“We have a growing group of committee people and active Republicans in Hoboken and other towns in Hudson County that came out to celebrate the first Republican President, the Great Emancipator, Abraham Lincoln,” said Chris Carbine, Hoboken Municipal Republican Committee Chairman. He continued, “with Jack Ciattarelli and our other speakers, we see that the future of the New Jersey Republican Party includes the governor’s office and a growing movement for common sense smaller government.”

Joshua Sotomayor Einstein, NJ GOP State Committeeman, who is running for Chairman of the Hudson County Republican Party, said of the evening, “it’s events like these in which we celebrate our party’s past with activists and leaders from its present, that set the foundation for a successful future.” Sotomayor Einstein continued, “this is the grassroots activism Hudson County needs – dinners, bringing in speakers, debates, writing op-eds, and more to get the Republican perspective into the public sphere.”

At the dinner Hoboken Municipal Republican Chairman Carbine invited any and all Republicans who are not already on County Committee to discuss with him or Sotomayor Einstein how committee works and how they can be part of it.
