Howell Resident Announces Run For New Jersey State Senate

Howell Township, NJ: Dan Stinger has announced his candidacy for New Jersey State Senate in Legislative District 30. Stinger, a Howell Township homeowner and Wall public school graduate, has been an active fundraiser for various charities including the American Cancer Society, JDRF, the American Kidney Fund, the New York Blood Center, The American Red Cross, and the New Jersey Music Educators Association. During the pandemic Stinger has led an effort to provide meals to front line workers at Hackensack Meridian Hospital. Most recently Stinger was appointed to the Howell Township Municipal Alliance, where he will focus on advocating for suicide prevention initiatives.

Stinger has spent the past three years working as a real estate professional both as an agent and in property management. Through his professional experiences Stinger has gained an in-depth understanding of the communities within LD30. That understanding has shaped his platform to focus on the following four pillars:

  • Jobs– Finding ways to bring jobs back to District 30 in the hardest hit industries like restaurants and tourism which are traditionally small businesses.
  • Education– Fund trade schools and vocational programs. Bring consolidation to school administration and reallocate funding back to classroom education.
  • Infrastructure– Bring State funding back to the district so that our utility infrastructure and transportation needs can be upgraded.
  • Taxes– Reduce the tax burden on our communities through shared services and more public private partnerships.
