Hudson County Central Labor Council Releases a Resolution “Standing with the People of Ukraine”

March 23, 2022- The Hudson County Central Labor Council, a county wide federation of public, private and building and construction trades unions in Hudson County, New Jersey, released a resolution in solidarity with the people of Ukraine. President Barry Kushnir issued the following statement on the resolution.

“The ongoing humanitarian crisis in Ukraine as a result of Russia’s illegal war is heartbreaking. The Hudson County Central Labor Council sends its respect and support to the people of Ukraine. These brave men, women and children are an inspiration to all freedom loving people around the globe. Our labor council joins the many other trade unions, governments and advocacy groups from around the world calling upon Russia for an immediate and complete end to this act of unwarranted and criminal aggression.”
The Hudson County Central Labor Council is a federation of 40 public, private and building and construction trades representing approximately 15,000 working men and women in Hudson County, New Jersey.
