Hudson County Commissioner Jerry Walker Announces Assembly Bid for LD31

Hudson County Commissioner Vice Chairman Jerry Walker announced his bid to run for New Jersey General Assembly in the 31st Legislative District which comprises of parts of Jersey City, Bayonne, and Kearny. Walker main priorities consisted of focusing on education as the CEO of Team Walker which most recently consists of a new trade school for residents.


In attendance was US Congressman Bob Menendez, Hudson County Executive and Hudson County Democratic Organization Chairman Craig Guy, Hudson County Commissioner Ken Kopacz, West New York Mayor Albio Sires, Weehawken Mayor Rich Turner, Bayonne Council-President Gary LaPelusa, Bayonne Councilman Loyad Booker, Bayonne Councilman Juan Perez, Jersey City Ward F Councilman Frank Gilmore along with Labor representatives from the Carpenters and Longshoremen unions, a very large contingent from the Latin Social Organization, and a great showing from all in attendance to show support for our community! Jerry Walker is ready to continue to fight for residents in the 31st Legislative District along with Assemblyman Sampson and Bayonne Mayor Jimmy Davis for Hudson County Sheriff.


Jerry Walker is committed to ensuring he continues to fight for all residents in Jersey City, Bayonne, and Kearny.
