Hudson County Commissioners Unanimously Endorse Congressman Rob Mendendez

JERSEY CITY, NJ – Hudson County Democratic Organization Chairman Anthony Vainieri announced today that all nine elected members of the Hudson County Board of Commissioners are endorsing U.S. Representative Rob Menendez, Jr., (D-8) in next year’s Democratic Primary Election. The strong show of support from Hudson County’s county legislators comes after several other endorsements from local leaders, including Chairman Vainieri, County Executive-elect Craig Guy, State Senator Brian Stack, State Senators-elect Raj Mukherji and Angela McKnight, and numerous others.

“Congressman Menendez has been an incredible partner to the County of Hudson and we need him to continue working hard every day in Washington to deliver the federal resources our working class communities need,” said Commissioner Caridad Rodriguez. “As a Latina leader in Hudson County, I believe in the power of representation and know how important it is that we have Hispanic representation in Congress. Congressman Rob Menendez is the right choice to keep representing the people of Hudson County.”
