Hudson County Democratic Organization Endorses Gov. Phil Murphy, Democratic Ticket for June 2021 Primary

JERSEY CITY, N.J. — The Hudson County Democratic Organization is announcing its candidate endorsements for the June 2021 Primary Election, with Governor Phil Murphy and Lt. Governor Sheila Oliver topping the ticket. This year’s slate is a diverse group of men and women who have demonstrated themselves as dedicated public servants who are committed to fighting for Hudson County.

“Hudson County is home to some of the most diverse communities in the nation and as an organization, we are committed to promoting leadership that is reflective of the people they are elected to serve,” said HCDO Chairwoman Amy DeGise. “From Governor Murphy, who has been a tireless advocate of Hudson County’s working and middle class families, to our State Senate, Assembly and county candidates, I’m confident this slate will stand by our Democratic values, continue to fight for our County and do what is best for all of our residents.”

State Senator Sandra B. Cunningham for 31st District Senate

State Senator Nicholas J. Sacco for 32nd District Senate

State Senator Brian P. Stack for 33rd District Senate

Assemblywoman Angela McKnight and William B. Sampson IV for the 31st District Assembly

Assemblywoman Angelica Jimenez and Assemblyman Pedro Mejia for the 32nd District Assembly District

Assemblyman Raj Mukherji and Assemblywoman Annette Chaparro for the 33rd District Assembly

Jeffrey Dublin for Hudson County Register

The 2021 Primary Election will be held on Tuesday, June 8th 2021.
