Hudson County Executive Tom DeGise Sworn-in for Fifth Full Term

JERSEY CITY, N.J. — Hudson County Executive Tom DeGise was officially sworn-in to his fifth full term on Thursday morning. He was joined by his wife, Caren, and daughters Linda DeGise-Kotowski and Amy DeGise, Chairwoman of the Hudson County Democratic Organization, as well as numerous friends and colleagues at the informal ceremony held in the County Executive’s offices at the Brennan Courthouse. Former State Senator Bernie Kenny administered the oath of office.

“Serving as Hudson County Executive continues to be one of the most rewarding and fulfilling experiences of my life and I’m excited to begin a new term,” said Hudson County Executive Tom DeGise. “We have an outstanding team in this administration that is committed to the people of Hudson County, and I promise to always do my best to deliver the honest, steady leadership they deserve and to keep moving our home county forward.”

In his coming term County Executive DeGise plans to oversee the construction of the county’s new courthouse and justice complex, ensure the historic Casino in the Park is replaced with a new state of the art facility that honors its legacy, create a public safety training academy and continue to work closely with the mayors of all 12 municipalities to deliver for Hudson County residents.
