Hudson County Republican Groups Hold Unity BBQ At Liberty State Park

Jersey City, NJ – On Saturday, June 8, Republicans from across Hudson County showed up in Liberty State Park to eat, enjoy the beautiful view, and meet and mingle with other Republicans.  The Hoboken Municipal Republican Committee, Hudson County Federation of Republican Women, Hudson County Young Republicans, and the Hispanic Republicans of North Jersey came together to promote the event which was spearheaded by NJ GOP State Committeeman representing Hudson County, Joshua Sotomayor Einstein.

In attendance was Jack Ciattarelli, former Republican Assemblymen and gubernatorial primary candidate, who has made clear his intention to run for Governor against fumbling Phil Murphy. Ciattarelli spoke with attendees of the GOP BBQ and then circulated amongst other BBQ groups at Liberty State Park, shaking hands and engaging in the authentic retail politics he is well known for. Kamei Harris, Chairwoman of the Hudson County Federation of Republican Women, said “there is nothing the Republican Party can’t do when we are unified.” She continued “I reached out to our next governor, Jack Ciattarelli, and invited him to the BBQ because he understands that the status quo of an unaffordable New Jersey is unsustainable for every working man and woman in our state.”

Chris Carbine, Chairman of the Hoboken Municipal Republican Committee, stated that “it was great to be with Republicans from all over Hudson County, and together with people such as Kamei Harris, Joshua Einstein, Herminio Mendoza, and many other fellow GOP leaders in our county who are dedicated to building a unified Republican movement.” In attendance at the BBQ were teenage, young adult, Hispanic, women, black, white, Jewish, and many other types and stripes of Republicans.
