Hugin Campaign Post-Debate: Hugin Showcases Independence

Hugin Showcases Independence
Makes it clear he’s the best choice for New Jersey

NEWARK, NJ ─ During tonight’s debate on NJTV, Marine Corps veteran and job creator Bob Hugin decisively showed the people of New Jersey that he is the best choice in this election.

U.S. Senate candidate Bob Hugin released the following statement:

“I’m in this race for one reason ─ the people of New Jersey deserve better,” said Bob Hugin. “As Senator, I’m going to do what I’ve done my whole life: work with others to get results. By bringing Democrats and Republicans together, we can make health care more affordable for all Americans, we can fix our immigration system, we can improve our infrastructure, and we can raise the cap on state and local tax deductions that’s unfairly hurting New Jersey. The people of New Jersey deserve an independent leader in the United States Senate fighting for them and I will be that leader. It’s time to put people above party and politics to actually solve problems.”

Tonight was a last minute, desperate attempt by Bob Menendez, who failed to convince the people of New Jersey that he should be re-elected. New Jersey Republican State Committee Chairman Doug Steinhardt issued the following statement:

“Tonight’s debate between Marine Corps veteran and job creator Bob Hugin and corrupt, career politician Bob Menendez confirmed that Bob Hugin is the best choice to represent New Jersey,” said Chairman Steinhardt. “Tonight, we heard a desperate, corrupt politician fail to convince New Jerseyans that they should give him another six years in Washington. New Jerseyans know they deserve better and we’re confident that on November 6th, they will elect Bob Hugin, a strong leader who will be a Senator we can be proud of.”

Bob Hugin, a Marine Corps Veteran and business leader who has created thousands of New Jersey jobs, is running for U.S. Senate against incumbent Senator Bob Menendez. For more information visit bobhugin.com.
