Hugin Challenges Menendez to Debates Throughout New Jersey
MOUNTAINSIDE, NJ — U.S. Senate candidate Bob Hugin challenged his opponent, Senator Bob Menendez, to one-on-one debates this fall to give voters across New Jersey an opportunity to compare the candidates for Senate and make an informed choice this November.
“I look forward to debating Senator Bob Menendez and contrasting his record of corruption and failure with mine as a military veteran and successful business leader who has created jobs and led a company that revolutionized the fight against cancer,” said Hugin. “Senator Menendez thought he could avoid being held accountable to the voters, but he was wrong. We are holding him accountable every day and these debates will be another opportunity for voters to make a choice about who can best represent them and their families in Washington. I look forward to finalizing a schedule in the next several weeks. ”
The campaign indicated it was in negotiations with NJTV and various other outlets to secure dates, venues, and rules. Early discussions included South, Central, and North Jersey as possible locations.
Bob Hugin, a Marine Corps Veteran and business leader who has created thousands of New Jersey jobs, is running for U.S. Senate against incumbent Senator Bob Menendez. For more information visit bobhugin.com.
