HUGIN CLEARS MIDDLESEX COUNTY GOP’S SCREENING COMMITTEE
COUNTY TICKET COMES TOGETHER AS NOMINATING CONVENTION APPROACHES

Date: March 15, 2018

Last night, Bob Hugin for US Senate, Rich Pezzullo for the 6th Congressional District, Daryl Kipnis for the 12th Congressional District, and Lewis Glogower & Rich Castaldo for Middlesex County Freeholder were enthusiastically recommended by the MCRO screening committee. US Senate Candidate wowed the members of the screening committee clasping the recommendation 46-0.

The 46-0 victory of Bob Hugin was the first ever of its kind in Middlesex GOP history, according to party insiders.

“Bob Hugin and this approved slate will be submitted for consideration for the MCRO convention a week from this Saturday,” said Middlesex GOP Chair Lucille Panos. “Bob Menendez’s legal and ethical troubles have Republicans ready to rally around candidates that stand for economic growth, fiscal restraint and putting the people first. We look forward to the convention and presenting quality candidates that residents will be proud of come Election Day.”

Middlesex County GOP Chairman Emeritus Senator Sam Thompson and Ocean County GOP Chairman George Gilmore were both present for the evening’s proceedings.

Municipal chairs and grassroots leaders casted their votes on the chilly evening at the George Bush Center in Old Bridge, New Jersey.
