Hugin to Murphy: This is Not Standard Operating Procedure

MOUNTAINSIDE, NJ — Governor Murphy recently admitted that he didn’t know the true cost to New Jersey taxpayers for his new four-year contract agreement with the Communications Workers of America. When asked if he knew the cost to New Jersey taxpayers, Murphy admitted, “I don’t know the exact number…This used to be standard operating procedure in this state.” Bob Hugin released the following statement:

“Governor Murphy’s definition of standard operating procedure is far different from my own. It’s not fair to hard working New Jersey taxpayers to enter the state into agreements without knowing their costs,” said U.S. Senate Candidate Bob Hugin.

“New Jerseyans are overtaxed here at home and Senator Bob Menendez, who has voted over 90 times to increase taxes, wants to raise taxes on them even more down in Washington. New Jersey deserves better which is why I will stand up to anyone who wants to raise taxes on hard working New Jerseyans regardless if they are in Trenton or in Washington.”

Bob Hugin, a Marine Corps Veteran and business leader who has created thousands of New Jersey jobs, is seeking the Republican nomination for U.S. Senate to challenge incumbent Democrat Senator Bob Menendez.
