IBEW Local 164 Endorses Congressman Menendez for Re-Election in 2024

PARAMUS, NJ – Today, the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) Local 164 endorsed Rob Menendez for re-election to serve New Jersey’s 8th Congressional District.

“We have supported Rob since his first election and he has delivered,” said IBEW Local 164 Business Manager Daniel Gumble. “Rob is always there for us. We know that he will continue to be a champion for unions everywhere and support the hard-working men and women of IBEW. We are thrilled to offer our endorsement for Congressman Rob Menendez’s re-election efforts and look forward to partnering with his campaign team so that we can return him to Washington in November.

“Every day, IBEW uplifts thousands of working families by ensuring fair compensation and safe conditions for their members, and by investing in the next generation,” said Congressman Rob Menendez. “I am proud to be endorsed by the hard-working members of IBEW Local 64. We have built our campaign based on support from organized labor, affirming the work that we have done in Washington – supporting pivotal legislation like the Working Families Task Force Act and the PRO Act, and delivering billions in federal funding for our district. We fight every day for working families and for our brothers and sisters in labor. With their support, we will win re-election so that we can continue the good fight together.
