In Sue Altman’s First TV Ad, NJ-07 Voters are “Done with Tom Kean, Jr.”

This morning, Sue Altman released her first TV ad in the hypercompetitive Cook Political Report Toss-Up race for New Jersey’s 7th Congressional District.

The ad spotlights two NJ-07 Republicans who have rejected Tom Kean, Jr. as “your typical say anything, do nothing politician.”

Anthony and Sue N. cite Kean Jr.’s extreme record  – including the infamous “secret website” he used to covertly signal his anti-reproductive freedom agenda to conservative voters and donors – as their motivation for a change in representation.

“Junior is nothing like his dad,” Sue N. says.

Tom Kean, Jr. has made it his brand to dodge reporters and avoid questions, which has been noted on countless occasions. He also shields himself from direct engagement with his constituents – many of whom are curious about his endorsement of Donald Trump on the same day the former President was indicted by a jury on 34 felony charges and his refusal to support a bipartisan bill to protect IVF access from extremist state legislatures.

In Sue Altman, voters have the opportunity for new leadership they can trust and be proud of.

“Sue has taken on corruption in both parties, saving us taxpayers money,” Sue N. says – a reference to Sue’s years standing toe-to-toe with Republican Governor Chris Christie when we was cutting public school funding and South Jersey Democratic party boss George Norcross, who was recently indicted for abusing a $1 billion corporate tax incentive program that lined the pockets of politically connected corporate leaders.

“I trust that she will make New Jersey a safer and more affordable place to live,” said Anthony N.

Sue has made clear that protecting reproductive rights and fundamental freedoms, upholding public safety, tackling the affordability crisis on behalf of New Jersey families, and showing up and fighting for the people of NJ-07 will be her utmost priorities in Congress.
