INCUMBENT JENNA FIGUEROA KETTENBURG SECURES THE ENDORSEMENTS OF TRENTON MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL COLLEAGUES

TRENTON – With Orange Street Park as a backdrop, Trenton City Council Vice President Jenna Figueroa Kettenburg, secures the endorsements of Mayor Reed Gusciora, City Council President Crystal Feliciano, City Councilwoman-At-Large Jasi Edwards, and North Ward Councilwoman Jennifer Williams.

Mayor Reed Gusciora said, “I want to make clear that I wholeheartedly endorse Jenna Figueroa Kettenburg for re-election. Jenna is a problem solver. She’s very responsive to her constituents. I’m really proud of Jenna’s contributions in all areas of our city. I look forward to her serving another term on the City Council.”

Orange Street Park features freestanding sensory panels in the main play area and sensory musical pieces in the swing area including a generation swing. Play pieces were also made at ground level to accommodate all the children.

“When we were first given the list of parks by the administration of which would be renovated in the city, this park was not on the list. Orange Street Park was not put on the list until Council Vice President Jenna Figueroa Kettenburg went to the administration and made the request. She wanted this park on the list because the children didn’t have park equipment to play on. Afterwards, the administration willingly said yes. It all came to be because of South Ward Councilwoman Jenna Figueroa Kettenburg”, said City Council President Crystal Feliciano.

The new play area was created to offer a large amount of play value in a small area, while also leaving open lawn space for students from the nearby school who use the area daily. Other elected officials attending the press conference were Councilwoman-At-Large Jasi Edwards and North Ward Councilwoman Jennifer Williams.

“Everyone in the South Ward, please make sure you re-elect your Councilwoman, Jenna Figueroa Kettenburg. We’ve done so much already. Imagine what could be done with four more years together! She has my full endorsement”, said Councilwoman Williams.

Adding her endorsement to the growing list was Councilwoman At-Large Jasi Edwards.

“Jenna has always been boots on the ground giving back to the community. She’s out there in the community not for the photo opportunities but to get the work done. She cares about Trenton. She cares about her constituents and the things we need to do and accomplish as a collective council body. It’s an honor for me to endorse Jenna Figueroa Kettenburg because she does the work. That’s the type of Councilwoman we need”, added Councilwoman-At-Large Jasi Edwards.

Also in attendance were community stakeholders Pastor Erich Kussman of St. Bartholomew Lutheran Church and Trenton Firefighter Kevin Soto. Both expressed their endorsements for Figueroa Kettenburg because of her commitment to the City of Trenton and placing her constituents first.

Council President Feliciano added, “It’s an honor to pledge my full support for the re-election of South Ward Councilwoman Jenna Figueroa Kettenburg. She is a woman who has a heart for the city. She is a woman who works very hard to get the job done no matter what. I wholeheartedly endorse Jenna Figueroa Kettenburg for South Ward City Council.”

Throughout 2024, Figueroa Kettenburg also received endorsements from Elect Women NJ, NJ AFL-CIO, NJ CWA, Mercer County Central Labor Council, CWA-1038, and LiUNA.

“I’m honored to have the endorsements of Mayor Gusciora and my Council colleagues”, said Council Vice President Jenna Figueroa Kettenburg.
