“We applaud our elected officials for passing hundreds of billions of dollars in sorely-needed infrastructure funding, which will create good-paying jobs, catalyze economic growth, and create 21^st century transportation, energy, and water systems that we desperately need. Our members work on all of these systems and know firsthand just how important it is to embark on a decades-overdue overhaul of our nation’s infrastructure. This package will begin to address that backlog while providing the kinds of stable, good jobs that Americans need in the wake of the pandemic. We can’t wait to get to work.”
