Jason Bergman Joins Hoboken Strategy Group
Hoboken, N.J. (April 11, 2023) – Hoboken Strategy Group is pleased to announce that Jason Bergman has joined the firm as Director of Government Relations. In this role, Jason will be responsible for providing strategic advice and guidance to clients on various policy and legislative matters.

Jason Bergman joins Hoboken Strategy Group, having served as the Chief of Staff to Assemblyman William B. Sampson, IV in Legislative District 31, where he gained valuable experience in the inner workings of state government and the legislative process. In this role, he worked closely with elected officials and community leaders to advance legislative priorities and improve constituents’ lives in Bayonne and parts of Jersey City.

Before serving as Chief of Staff, Jason worked as a Legislative Aide for Senator Joe Lagana, Assemblywoman Lisa Swain, and Assemblyman Chris Tully in the 38th Legislative District Office. In this role, he worked on various policy issues and gained a wealth of knowledge on legislative matters, including healthcare, education, transportation and the environment.
Jason’s passion for public service and civic engagement is reflected in his involvement in leadership positions with the Young Democrats of America, the New Jersey State Young Democrats and the Bergenfield Democratic Committee. He has also serves on both the Planning and Zoning Boards in Bergenfield, where he has helped to shape local policies and initiatives that have a meaningful impact on the community.
Jason earned his B.A. in Political Science with a Public Policy and Philosophy minor from Ramapo College of New Jersey, where he developed a strong foundation in political theory and policy analysis. He has continued to build on this establishment throughout his career. He resides in Bergenfield, NJ, in Bergen County, where he is an active community member and works to improve the lives of those around him.
