(Northfield, NJ) – Dr. Jeff Van Drew has received the endorsement of the Jewish Democratic Council of America (JDCA), the organization that represents Jewish Democrats across the United States.

“JDCA is pleased to announce its endorsement of Dr. Jeff Van Drew,” said Halie Soifer, Executive Director of JDCA. “We are confident that Jeff will be a strong voice for Jewish and Democratic values in the Congress when he wins his race in November, and we strongly support his candidacy in New Jersey’s 2nd District.”

“I’m deeply honored to receive the JDCA’s Endorsement,” said Jeff Van Drew. “I have been a life-long supporter of Israel. As a congressman, it will be my privilege to ensure that America supports Israel’s right to exist and thrive with the same sense of security and economic self-determination as any other nation.”

JDCA’s endorsement process has focused on supporting candidates whose positions are aligned with the JDCA platform and represent Jewish and Democratic values. In addition, JDCA is targeting races where the Jewish vote could impact the outcome of the election in support of Democrats. The JDCA press release announcing its endorsement can be found here.

Throughout his campaign, Jeff Van Drew has reiterated the importance of tolerance and unity. His campaign is focused on bringing civility and common-sense back to Washington, so Congress can start working for all Americans. “Extremes on both ends of the spectrum have broken our government, and we need more people in Congress who value respect and decency,” said Dr. Van Drew.

Jeff Van Drew is a practicing dentist from Dennis Township, and is the Senator for New Jersey’s 1st Legislative District. Van Drew is running for congress in New Jersey’s 2nd Congressional District, which includes all or parts of New Jersey’s eight southernmost counties.
