Jersey City Council Candidate Kevin Bing Comments on Negative Mailer

Journal Square, Jersey City: Today my campaign sent a mailer that goes into detail on my opponent’s, Councilman Rich Boggiano, record and begs the question “Is Rich Boggiano a Trump Republican?”. While I would normally be against a mailer attacking my opponent, I believe that Councilman Boggiano’s record is clearly unrepresentative of Jersey City’s progressive values to not be put into the public eye.

While Boggiano has commented on these issues in the past, I want to present them side-by-side. The throughline which explains all of his actions is either that the Councilman genuinely holds Trump’s values, or he doesn’t realize that his actions are tacit support of Trump. This is not what Jersey City deserves. Hopefully a greater number of Jersey City residents will be informed and make their decision this November 2nd.
