John-Paul Levin Announces Candidacy for New Jersey’s 23rd Legislative District Assembly Seat

Bridgewater, NJ – John-Paul (JP) Levin, a dedicated public servant, entrepreneur, and former Bound Brook councilman, has officially announced his candidacy for the New Jersey General Assembly in the 23rd Legislative District. He seeks to fill the seat currently held by Assemblyman John DiMaio, who is expected to run for the Senate seat vacated by Senator Doug Steinhardt upon his anticipated appointment to the U.S. District Attorney’s office.

“For the past 16 years, I have been deeply engaged in fighting the challenges that burden New Jersey families and businesses,” said JP Levin. “From overdevelopment and rising taxes to the erosion of parental rights, I have worked tirelessly to advocate for our communities and ensure that the voices of residents are heard.”

As a former Bound Brook councilman, John-Paul (JP) gained valuable experience representing constituents at both the local and county levels. He has served on multiple municipal and county committees, boards and commissions, volunteered as a youth sports coach, and led fundraising efforts to support community initiatives.

In addition to his public service, John-Paul (JP) is a business owner and entrepreneur, bringing firsthand experience in economic development and job creation. He believes his background equips him with the leadership and problem-solving skills necessary to effectively represent and deliver results to the district and NJ.

“I understand the concerns of hardworking families, small businesses, and community members who want a more prosperous and accountable government,” John-Paul (JP) added. “I am committed and will make it my mission to consistently fight towards lowering taxes, responsible development, protecting agricultural farmlands, and policies that prioritize the needs of our residents that will give them the quality of life they deserve, all the while fiercely defending the Constitution.  As a former professional equestrian rider and trainer, IT’S TIME to turn the Garden State desirable again.”
