Johnson Calls on Greenstein to Denounce Assembly’s Running Mate’s Racist Comments
New Jersey’s 14th District – Senate Candidate Patricia Johnson calls on opponent to denounce her running mate’s racist comments. Yesterday a video surfaced of Linda Greenstein’s Assembly running mate Tennille McCoy calling to shift employees out of public jobs and replace them – based solely on race – when she was the assistant Commission to the Labor and Workforce Department.
“The comments from Tennille McCoy were disgraceful and have no place in state government, and Linda Greenstein should be as disgusted as the rest, of us.” said Johnson. “For decades, Linda Greenstein has placed party politics above serving Middlesex and Mercer families. Her silence on this issue indicates she’ll continue to do more of the same. If Linda can’t call out blatant racism for what it is, how can we possibly expect her to stand up for our values in the legislature?”
