JOIS TO LANCE: HOW MANY MORE HAVE TO DIE?

Congressional Candidate Goutam Jois issued the following statement after the shooting in Las Vegas that killed at least 59 and injured over 500:

“Once again, Congressman Leonard Lance offered nothing but platitudes in a tweet in response to a deadly mass shooting. For years, he has opposed common-sense gun safety measures, including those with overwhelming bipartisan support like preventing terrorists from buying guns and restrictions on people with mental illnesses purchasing guns.”

“My kids are 5 and 4 years old, and I refuse to have them grow up in a country where the ‘deadliest mass shooting in history’ is an annual occurrence. Rep. Lance needs to answer a simple question: how many more people have to die from gun violence before he will do something about it?”

Congressman Lance has a near-perfect rating from the NRA and a rating of zero from the Brady Campaign to prevent gun violence.
