JOSH FOR JERSEY UNVEILS FIRST DIGITAL AD IN GUBERNATORIAL CAMPAIGN

First in a series of timely issue-based messages to reach grassroots supporters

Hackensack, NJ – Congressman Josh Gottheimer, candidate for Governor of New Jersey, has launched his first digital ad of the campaign, showing he’ll be the “Lower Taxes, Lower Costs” Governor.

Titled “Standing Up for Jersey,” the digital ad highlights his successful fight against New York’s outrageous Congestion Tax and his commitment to take up that fight again.

“New Jersey commuters deserve better than being treated like ATMs for New York’s problems,” said Josh Gottheimer. “As Governor, I’ll fight tooth and nail to stop the Congestion Tax once and for all, just like I did before. We need leadership that will put Jersey families first and makes sure every dollar stays where it belongs—in the pockets of our commuters.”

The digital ad is the first of a series aimed at communicating to Josh’s grassroots supports.

The digital ad features Josh speaking to camera and in voiceover calling out New York. “I’ll be damned if I am going to have Jersey families pay to bail out Governor Hochul and the MTA. I’ll fight it again from Congress and as Governor, you can count on me fighting back and winning.”

Gottheimer, who has represented New Jersey’s Fifth Congressional District since 2017, has built a reputation as a fierce advocate for middle-class families, commuters, and taxpayers. Gottheimer’s campaign to be Jersey’s “Lower Taxes, Lower Costs” Governor promises to focus on lowering taxes and costs, expanding job opportunities, solving problems, and defending Jersey Values.
