I am so proud of how strong our town of New Milford is. We are indeed stronger together! I am proud of the great teamwork and safety measures that our mayor, council members, Health Department, OEM, NMFD, NMPD, NMPA, NMVAC, DPW, and all office employees continue to put towards ensuring that we are all safe.

Also, I am most proud to see over 500 New Milford Residents step up as COVID-19 Volunteers for our beautiful New Milford and residents. These hundreds of selfless New Milford residents (COVID-19 Volunteers), are all on standby to offer emotional assistance, medical advice, shop for the elderly and immunologically compromised ones, pick up medication on your behalf from a nearby pharmacy and deliver them to your doorstep, and walk your dog for you, all while helping to reduce the spread of this COVID-19 virus that we are getting to defeat together.

More so, our town has been able to set up a “Special Wednesdays Only ShopRite Shopping Hour” for our seniors, pregnant women, and for people with disabilities from 7am-8am.

We all have done well my fellow New Milford residents, and we all should be very proud of our accomplishments together as one united people. Together, we will get through this!
