SOUTH JERSEY PROGRESSIVE DEMOCRAT BACKS ELIZABETH BOARD OF ED CHALLENGERS

ELIZABETH, NJ — Danielle Fienberg, Janice Figeora, and Natalie Hernandez, the candidates running under Justice for Elizabeth, today received the endorsement of President of the South Jersey Progressive Democrats, Kate Delany.

“This is a time when NJ schools most desperately need courageous, innovative leadership committed to social justice,” Delany stated. “The progressive platform of Fienberg, Figueroa and Hernandez speaks to the range of challenges our public schools already faced prior to COVID-19 and will need to address head on during and post pandemic.”

In addition to being the president of the South Jersey Progressive Democrats, Kate Delany is the chair of the Collingswood Progressive Democrats and she is the president of The Collingswood Educational Advocacy Group (CEAG). The CEAG is a progressive organization comprised of caregivers and community members interested in discussing issues pertaining to education, students and their families.

“I have long admired Kate’s work in the educational realm,” stated Justice for Elizabeth candidate Danielle Fienberg. “It means quite a bit to me to receive such high praise from someone who has achieved as much as she has and who is so well respected.”

Election Day is November 3rd, 2020. The school board elections will be held concurrently with the federal general election. To learn more about the Justice for Elizabeth candidates and campaign, visit www.justiceforelizabeth.com.
