Margate, NJ (December 10, 2024) – Jewish Family Service of Atlantic & Cape May Counties is proud to welcome Katherine Gorno as the agency’s new Chief Financial Officer. In this position, Katherine will oversee all Accounting related functions and drive transformational change initiatives for the organization.

A seasoned professional, Katherine most recently served as the Chief Financial Officer at Community Health Action of Staten Island, Inc. where she successfully drove innovative financial solutions, managed complex budgeting and forecasting processes, and collaborated with banking and insurance industry professionals. With more than 20 years of financial expertise, Katherine is poised to bring new insights that will support JFS’ financial stability and future growth.
A graduate of Baruch College in New York, Katherine earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting. Her professional affiliations include the Association of Accountants and Financial Professionals in Business and the Society of Human Resource Management.
We would like to thank her predecessor, Steven Marchiano, for his five years serving as JFS’ Chief Financial Officer and wish him the best on his semi-retirement.
