Kevin Goodsir and Warren Gross Announce Republican Run for West Milford Town Council

Kevin Goodsir and Warren Gross are proud to announce their candidacies in the 2019 Republican primary. They were the two top vote getters in the well attended Republican County Committee meeting to elect candidates for the two open Council seats.

Kevin Goodsir is a lifelong resident of West Milford, some 40 plus years, and owns and lives in the house where he grew up. He is the married father of two sons, and a building tradesman with Local 253. He has dedicated the majority of his free time volunteering for a number of organizations and causes. His long history of volunteerism includes the Boys and Girls Club, Veterans Hospital, and local food pantries and toy drives. He is also the volunteer coordinator for his Local 253. ‘With his outside-the-box thinking and collaborative decision making, Goodsir sees the potential, long underutilized, of what our community has to offer and is excited to set his plans in motion. He also intends to bring back integrity, decorum and professionalism to the dais and believes he will represent the voices of the residents and business owners of this community.

Warren Gross is a lifelong conservative Republican. He is the married father of 5 children, grandfather of 5 grandchildren and a business owner. Gross is a construction consultant, managing and consulting for multimillion dollar construction projects. He has been a member of the West Milford Planning Board for several terms and a five year member of the West Milford Building Standards Committee. With his knowledge, expertise and ability to identify opportunities for revitalization, Gross has a strategy for long term plans to bring more opportunities for improving the overall quality of life and resources within our Township.

Both candidates look forward to collaborating with Mayor Michele Dale on the cohesive long-range strategic planning for West Milford that is so long overdue and which she has already, in the short time she has been in office, started to outline.
