KEY ANNOUNCEMENTS OF SUPPORT CONTINUE TO GROW FOR TIM ALEXANDER FOR CONGRESS
Oceanville, N.J. – Tim Alexander, Democratic Candidate in New Jersey’s 2nd Congressional District, announced the support of two important groups on Wednesday as momentum continues to build behind the candidate’s message of inclusiveness and laser-like focus on affordability, public safety, and the need for representation in Congress that effectively addresses the unique mix of rural, urban, and coastal concerns of District residents.
“I’m honored to receive the endorsement of the Berkeley Township Democratic Club and the 2024 Moms Demand Action Gun Sense Candidate Distinction. This support proves that our campaign is leading the way by addressing the issues of most concern to our residents. Too many politicians today are caught up in double-speak and empty promises. I am committed to putting politics aside and working with real people across the District in order to address the needs of those folks committed to doing more than just making ends meet while also preserving the unique rural, urban, and coastal mix that makes living here in the 2nd Congressional District so special.” said Tim Alexander, Democratic Candidate for Congress in New Jersey’s 2nd Congressional District.
This year’s Democratic Primary will be held on Tuesday, June 4th, when Democratic voters choose their nominees for a variety of offices, including who they wish to serve as the next Congressperson from the 2nd Congressional District. As in previous years, vote-by-mail options will also be available with applications now being accepted, in addition to early in-person voting, which will be held at various locations from May 29, 2024, to June 2, 2024.
“Tim Alexander is a candidate that Berkeley Democrats and Democrats across the 2nd Congressional District are proud to support. As a former police officer, a former Detective in the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office, and an attorney focused on Civil Rights practice, Tim understands the concerns of average residents and is committed to being their voice in Congress and not the voice of the special interests which is all too common in Washington today. Tim’s focus on making life more affordable and safer and addressing the need to preserve this unique part of New Jersey through creating good-paying jobs, protecting the environment, and strengthening public safety is the right message for today’s challenging times. We here in Berkeley Township look forward to helping Tim spread his message and to doing everything we can to ensure that he, in fact, does become our next Congressman.” Said Kia Phua, President of the Berkeley Township Democratic Club.
