Lampitt Applauds Nomination of Dr. Angelica Allen-McMillan as NJ Education Commissioner

            (TRENTON) – Assemblywoman Pamela Lampitt (D-Camden, Burlington), Chair of the Assembly Education Committee, issued the following statement on the nomination of Dr. Angelica Allen-McMillan to lead the New Jersey Department of Education:

“New Jersey students deserve a leader with the educational experience and diverse background as Dr. Allen-McMillan. I applaud her nomination by the Governor today as the next Commissioner of the New Jersey Department of Education. These are challenging times and her exemplary history of leadership is welcomed.
