Lance Backs Defense Bill
WASHINGTON, D.C. — Congressman Leonard Lance (NJ-07) released the following statement after the U.S. House passed the conference report of the National Defense Authorization Act:
“The world is a dangerous place and the brave Americans who step forward to protect the United States and our allies need support, compensation and the tools to do the job. This legislation authorizes the critical missions to confront emerging threats and enables the U.S. to remain a global force for good. And it includes a significant pay raise for our men and women in uniform. As we conclude Veterans Day weekend we are reminded that our Nation counts on the volunteer service of those willing to protect our country. We must give them the tools to defend themselves and maintain American military superiority.”
