Remember when Tom Malinowski campaigned for Phil Murphy and the entire Democratic legislative ticket?  We do.  And thanks to Tom Malinowski, now 7th District working families and businesses will face $1.5 billion in new taxes to finance more out-of-control spending.

New Jersey now has the fourth highest marginal income tax rate on individuals and the second highest corporate rate after Iowa.  Is this what Tom Malinowski was campaigning for?  Does Congress really need another tax-and-spend liberal like Tom Malinowski?

Make no mistake:  the Malinowski-Murphy tax-and-spend plan will make New Jersey less affordable.  Garden State families and employers will flee to more affordable states like Pennsylvania, Florida and South Carolina taking revenue and good-paying jobs with them.

But Tom Malinowski doesn’t care about making New Jersey affordable to live, work and raise a family.

Tom Malinowski owns a million dollar home in one of Washington, D.C.’s tony neighborhoods.  Tom Malinowski only recently moved to New Jersey to run for Congress.  He hasn’t lived in New Jersey since 1991 — almost 30 years ago.  Tom Malinowski has never owned a home in New Jersey.  He’s never paid New Jersey property taxes.  Malinowski has never worried about his New Jersey’s affordability because he’s never lived here to care.
