“Latinos Against Project 2025” Launches Six-Figure Ad Campaign to Raise Awareness Among Latino Voters About Project 2025’s Threats 

 

Rep. Jesús “Chuy” García to join leaders from environmental and immigrant rights organizations on a press call to highlight the catastrophic consequences of Project 2025 on the Latino Community

 

WASHINGTON — Today, Monday, October 7, at 1 PM ET, Congressman Jesús “Chuy” García, along with representatives from United We Dream, Poder Latinx, Center for American Progress, SEIU, and Climate Power En Acción will hold a press briefing to launch a six-figure advertising campaign to educate and inform Latino and Hispanic voters on the dangers of Project 2025 and its threat to communities across the country.

 

The Latinos Against Project 2025 Coalition launched its six-figure digital investment in battleground states now through Election Day. The ads are in English and Spanish, and will target Latino voters under the age of 45. Climate Power’s ad campaign will have a climate focus and will target Nevada and Arizona. America’s Voice and People’s Action’s ads will target North Carolina and Pennsylvania. Latino Victory Project, Poder Latinx, and America’s Voice’s ads will target Arizona and Nevada.

 

The initial spend is $190,000. The ads will be in English and Spanish on premium streaming video CCTV, YouTube Facebook, and Instagram.

 

Also on the call, the coalition will announce training sessions for field organizers in key states led by Poder Latinx, America’s Voice and People’s Action to prepare people on the ground with resources on the dangers of Project 2025.

 

The call participants will hear from a member of Congress, along with representatives from labor, immigration, progressive, and environmental and immigrant rights groups, who will highlight Project 2025’s harmful effect on issues central to the interest of the Latino and immigrant voters communities.
