MANTOLOKING – 10th district Assembly Candidate D’Arcy Rohan Green today pledged she will donate her legislative salary to Ocean County charities if elected. Green wants to donate to charities that provide treatment for drug addiction, assist victims of domestic violence and run programs for Ocean County veterans.

“The reason for pledge is two-fold; I want to serve in the Assembly to serve the people, not to get a paycheck, and there are so many causes in our community that can use the funds to make a real difference,” said Green.

Green would be the only member of the State Legislature to make such a pledge.

D’Arcy Rohan Green, a Mantoloking resident, is a former Bay Head Council President and current member of the New Jersey Pinelands Commission.
