LD39 Candidates Schwager, Chung & Hausmann Endorsed by EMILY’s List

WESTWOOD – Legislative District 39 Candidates Linda Schwager, Jannie Chung and Annie Hausmann announced today that they have received the endorsement of EMILY’s List, the largest resource in the United States supporting women running for office.

“Linda Schwager, Jannie Chung and Annie Hausmann are the voices that New Jersey needs in its legislature. All three women understand the importance of supporting their communities and advocating for policies that will keep health care affordable and ensure a high-quality life for all,” said EMILY’s List Senior Director of State and Local Campaigns Geri Prado. “EMILY’s List is proud to endorse this strong, dedicated slate of candidates for New Jersey’s 39th legislative district.”

Linda Schwager is an attorney, retired teacher and two-term Mayor of Oakland, a town where she has lived for over 40 years and has raised her children.

Jannie Chung is a Councilwoman from Closter where she was the first Korean American elected to public office. As a small business consultant, Jannie trains, mentors and support small businesses to create jobs and improve our economy.

Annie Hausmann is a successful philanthropist and non-profit fundraiser. After growing up in public housing of the Bronx and Staten Island, Annie worked full-time as a young adult to help support her family. She lives in Norwood, N.J. with her husband David.

New Jersey’s 39^th Legislative District includes twenty towns in Bergen County and three in Passaic County.
