LEADING ENVIRONMENTAL GROUP SUPPORTS GOVERNOR MURPHY’S DECISION TO REOPEN PARKS IN NEW JERSEY

Trenton – the following is a statement from Ed Potosnak, Executive Director, New Jersey League of Conservation Voters, about the decision to reopen public parks in New Jersey during the COVID-19 pandemic.

“We’re pleased that Gov. Murphy is reopening state and county parks for recreation, which is so critical for mental and physical health,” said Ed Potosnak, Executive Director, New Jersey League of Conservation Voters. “We encourage New Jerseyans to use parks responsibly, following social distancing to protect themselves and others while enjoying the benefits of nature.”
