Legislative District 30 Assembly Candidates Dobbins and Filosa
Endorsed By NASW-NJ

The National Association of Social Workers New Jersey Chapter (NASW-NJ) have
endorsed challengers Stephen Dobbins and Matt Filosa in the Legislative District 30
Assembly campaign. NASW-NJ endorsed the candidates based on their commitment to
issues facing Social Workers around the State. Dobbins and Filosa believe that our
Social Workers are a critical part of New Jersey’s social safety net.

“Social workers are front and center for our residents in their time of need. Often a
Social Worker is the only support some of our most vulnerable residents have. I am
committed to supporting the initiatives of the NASW-NJ” Dobbins stated.

According to Filosa “I have seen the role that Social Workers play in helping students in
schools when that student has no where else to turn and these Social Workers need our
full support.”

The first role of any Legislator is to be there for their constituents. Our Social Workers
live that motto everyday supporting our most vulnerable residents and it is an honor to
receive this endorsement. This November voters in Legislative District 30 have an
opportunity to elect Legislators who will put the communities of LD30 first.
