LGBTQ+ Victory Fund Endorses Eric Holliday for Bordentown Township Committee
National organization endorses Holliday for his commitment to equality and progressive
leadership

Bordentown, New Jersey – Today, the LGBTQ+ Victory Fund – the only national organization
dedicated to electing LGBTQ+ people to public office – proudly endorses Eric Holliday for
Bordentown Township Committee. The endorsement reflects Victory Fund’s confidence that
Holliday is a champion for equality in the community. Holliday is the first openly LGBTQ+ person
to serve on the Bordentown Township Committee in the town’s history.
“LGBTQ+ Victory Fund is excited to endorse Eric Holliday for Bordentown Township
Committee,” said Annise Parker, President & CEO of LGBTQ+ Victory Fund. “Eric has served 9
years on council and has demonstrated his commitment to equality, inclusivity and creating
opportunities for the LGBTQ+ community throughout his years of service. His election would
mark a significant step forward for LGBTQ+ representation in Bordentown Township, and we
know he will be a strong advocate for fairness and equality.”
“I’m honored to receive the endorsement of the LGBTQ+ Victory Fund. It’s a privilege to be part
of this movement for equality and representation. I’m committed to ensuring that everyone in our
community feels seen, heard, and respected. Together, we can build a more inclusive and
progressive Bordentown Township, where diversity is celebrated, and opportunities are
available for all,” said Committeeman Eric Holliday.
LGBTQ identification in the U.S. has risen to 10 percent, but only 0.25 percent of elected
positions are held by LGBTQ individuals, according to the LGBTQ+ Victory Institute. Currently,
there are only 1,303 LGBTQ elected officials serving nationwide. In order to achieve equitable
representation, 38,193 more LGBTQ people need to be elected to public office. As an out
LGBTQ+ leader Holliday will bring a fresh and inclusive perspective to Bordentown Township,
focusing on key issues such as stabilizing taxes, sustainability, and community safety.
Victory Fund will promote Holliday’s endorsement among its nationwide network of supporters,
bolstering his campaign and increasing visibility for his race. More information about the Victory
Fund and its mission can be found at victoryfund.org.
